Our client, a highly regarded federal government department, is seeking an experienced Technical Writer to ensure high quality product and technical documentation is produced for software development. This will be an initial 3 month contract with possible extension.

You will be responsible for, though not limited to the following:
  • Develop technical documentation including service designs, work instructions, user guides, release notes and statements of work;
  • Develop customer support scripts for internal and external project agencies
  • Work closely with technical staff internal to the project;
  • Assist the Project and Program Managers in meeting documentation requirements
The successful candidate will have the following experience:
  • 5+ years ICT experience and expertise in technical writing and process flow documentation in a government organisation
  • Proficient use of MS Office Suite including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as Visio
  • Demonstrated ability to apply methods, metrics, tools and techniques of business;
  • Strong Communication and interpersonal skills.
