One of Australia's most reputable Federal Government Departments is looking to engage in multiple experienced Web Writers/Editors to join their Product Team to support the delivery of a significantly improved client experience during the enrolment and registration application process. The successful candidate will be offered an initial 12 week contract starting early January 2018 at an attractive hourly rate.

The successful Web Writers/Editors will be responsible for, but not limited to;
  • Auditing existing website and public documents to determine necessary content changes
  • Reviewing, rewriting and editing existing website content and documents to reflect the new digital enrolment and registration application
  • Managing approvals process and finalisation for content fit to publish
  • Publish to the website as required
The successful Web Writers/Editors must have experience in the following;
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in high quality writing and editing of content for websites
  • Experience in undertaking a content audit of a substantial website
  • Demonstrated understanding of, and ability to, apply WCAG 2.0 Level AA standards
  • Understanding of government regulation and compliance functions is desirable
