An opportunity has opened for an experienced ICT Business Analyst to join a Federal Government Department. In this role, you will support a cloud governance FinOps project, focusing on enhancing cloud cost reporting, optimiation, and the development of a FinOps framework and cloud policy. This contract runs until 30 June 2025, with an optional 12-month extension.

The successful ICT Business Analyst will be responsible for:

• Collaborating with system users to map business processes and understand project requirements.
• Engaging with stakeholders, compiling workshop reports, and developing functional requirements.
• Creating and managing use cases, test scripts, and documentation, supporting data-driven decision-making.
• Communicating insights with project teams, writing technical documentation, and managing risk.

Key Requirements:

• Extensive experience as a Business Analyst with a strong customer-focused approach.
• Strong analytical skills, with experience in cloud FinOps (preferably Azure and D365).
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
