A prominent Federal Government Department is seeking an experienced Content Designer to join their Digital Engagement and Experience team. This role offers a 6-month contract, with up to two 12-month extension options, and the flexibility to work remotely or from offices in Canberra, Sydney, Brisbane, or Melbourne.

The successful Content Designer will be responsible for:

• Creating accessible, user-centered content for digital platforms, including information architecture design.
• Publishing digital content using web content management systems, such as Drupal and SharePoint.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to deliver customer-centric solutions aligned with the Digital Service Standard.
• Leveraging expertise in Agile methodology, WCAG 2.1 AA compliance, and SEO strategies.

The successful Content Designer will have:

• At least three years of experience in developing accessible, user-centered content for digital products.
• Hands-on experience with Drupal and SharePoint CMS.
• Strong knowledge of digital technologies, including campaign management, customer analytics, and more.
• The ability to work independently in multidisciplinary teams, managing tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
