One of Australia's leading Federal Government departments are looking to engage Multiple Senior Project Officers to provide essential support for various ICT projects and programs. The role will be based in Canberra with flexible working arrangements also available. The successful Senior Project Officer will be offered a 12 month contract with 2 X 12 month extension options.  

The successful Senior Project Officer will be responsible for, but not limited to: 

• Coordinate and manage project activities, including schedules, budgets, and reporting.
• Engage with stakeholders to build strong relationships and ensure effective communication.
• Support multiple projects using various delivery methodologies (Prince2, Agile, SAFe, Hybrid).
• Provide administrative and secretariat support for project governance activities.

The successful Senior Project Officer will have experience in the following:

• Proven experience in project coordination, including tracking deliverables and budgets.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Familiarity with project methodologies and tools such as Azure DevOps (desirable).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Teams and SharePoint.
