One of Australia's leading Federal Government departments are looking to engage an experienced Solution Architect to analyse business requirements and design cloud based solutions for current legacy on premises systems. You will drive the technical direction of projects and work packages under their digital uplift program ensuring compliance and security architecture are met. The role will be based in Canberra with the successful Solution Architect to be offered a 12 month contract with 2 X 12 month extension options.  

The successful Solution Architect will be responsible for, but not limited to: 

• Undertaking implementation planning and deploying system changes  
• Making configurations in their ICT environment
• Committing to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest trends in cloud computing
• Ensuring solutions meet compliance and security requirements  

The successful Solution Architect will have experience in the following:

• Deep understanding of Cyber Security principles, practices and frameworks
• Proven experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure and Google Cloud
• Ability to design and implement PaaS and SaaS solutions
• Technical tertiary qualifications in Microsoft or Splunk (highly desirable)
