One of Australia's leading Federal Government departments are looking to engage an experienced Security Architect to support effective ICT Security capabilities and ensure business requirements are being met. We are looking for someone with an extensive security background mainly with policies and compliance as well as ISM AND IRAP. The role will be based in Canberra with flexible working arrangements available. The successful Security Architect will be offered a contract until June 2025 with 3 X 12 month extension options.   

The successful Security Architect will be responsible for, but not limited to: 

• Coordinating Security Accreditation activities across the program
• Developing key Security Documents that underpin architecture Governance processes  
• Delivering quality Security Architecture deliverables as per the Security Accreditation framework
• Managing program Security risks

The successful Security Architect will have experience in the following:

• Experience in designing and overseeing the implementation of Enterprise wide ICT Security Solutions
• Demonstrated experience with Firewalls, Gateways, SIEM and ISM
• Experience designing and supporting organisations developing Security capabilities through Scaled Agile
• Familiarity or experience using architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, AGAF and SABSA (desirable)
