One of Australia's leading Federal Government departments are looking to engage an experienced Project / Program Manager to lead collaboration to successfully delivery program outcomes. The role can be based from Canberra, Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne. The successful Project / Program Manager will be offered a 12 month contract with 1 x 12 month extension options.

The successful Project / Program Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to: 

• Scoping, planning and reporting on assigned projects to agreed standards
• Managing project resources and coordinating with services providers and stakeholders to meet project outcomes
• Management of project risks and escalations
• Guiding project related change including consistent communication to stakeholders

The successful Project / Program Manager will have experience in the following:

• Proven leadership in managing collaboration across multiple streams and aligning with governance frameworks for successful program delivery.
• Experience coaching teams and project leads to meet program outcomes, while managing deliverables within Health sector governance frameworks.
• Experience in large scale IT transformation projects/programs
• Strong communication with senior executives, governance boards, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and program success.
• Experience working in government.
