A leading Federal Government department is looking to engage an experienced Azure Monitoring Engineer / Azure DevOps Engineer to join their Enterprise Monitoring team. This role focuses on developing and maintaining monitoring capabilities within Azure and other toolsets to minimise service disruptions for business critical functions. The successful Azure Monitoring Engineer / Azure DevOps Engineer will be offered a 12 month contract with options for 2 years of extensions and flexible work arrangements.

The successful Azure Monitoring Engineer / Azure DevOps Engineer will be responsible for, but not limited to: 

• Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Configuring and managing Azure Monitor, AppDynamics, and Splunk tools
• Implementing new monitoring solutions and ensuring seamless integration
• Supporting ITIL-aligned service requests and incident responses
• Documenting changes and refining tools in consultation with business teams

The successful Azure Monitoring Engineer / Azure DevOps Engineer will have experience in the following:

• At least 5 years in technical operations managing secure environments
• Application and infrastructure monitoring within Azure
• CI/CD automation, Azure DevOps, and Terraform
• Proficiency in KQL, Git, and documentation for technical stakeholders
