A high profile Federal Government department is looking to engage experienced Data Architects / Information Architects to play a key role in structuring and optimising information architecture for usability and managing data structures within IT systems. The successful Data Architects / Information Architects will be offered an initial 3 month contract with the view to be extended and hybrid working arrangements, Australia Wide!

The successful Data Architects / Information Architects will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Design and optimise information architecture for easy navigation, including sitemaps, user flows, and wireframes.
• Conduct user research and validation, gathering insights through interviews, focus groups, and stakeholder feedback.
• Develop and refine prototypes, creating interactive models and mockups to improve usability.
• Support end-to-end implementation, from design and coding to deployment and executive presentations.

The successful Data Architects / Information Architects will have experience in the following:

• Extensive experience as a Data Architect or Information Architect, with tertiary qualifications in a relevant field.
• Proven expertise in developing, implementing, and maintaining information and data management frameworks, policies, and procedures.
• Strong background in data and information architecture governance across IT project lifecycles.
• Ability to engage, influence, and lead architecture process adoption and change management initiatives.
• Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to present to senior stakeholders.
