A Federal Government Department is seeking a seasoned Lead Business Analyst/ Senior Business Analyst to join a dynamic, cross-functional delivery team contributing to the enhancement of a nationally significant digital platform This is an excellent opportunity to apply your leadership and analytical skills within a collaborative digital delivery environment. The role can be based in Canberra, Sydney or Melbourne with flexible working arrangements also available. The successful Lead Business Analyst/ Senior Business Analyst will be offered a 12 month contract with a 6 month extension option.  

The successful Lead Business Analyst/ Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to: 

• Leading the elicitation and documentation of business requirements across project streams
• Facilitating workshops with internal and external stakeholders to capture user needs and identify process improvements
• Producing key artefacts such as user stories, journey maps, functional specs, and personas
• Supporting solution design, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and data management standards

The successful Lead Business Analyst/ Senior Business Analyst will have experience in the following:

• Minimum 5 years’ business analysis experience in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
• Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation, negotiation, and communication skills
• Proven ability to develop comprehensive BA artefacts and support solution delivery in Agile teams
• Experience with tools such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, Azure DevOps, Miro, and Axure RP (highly desirable)
