One of Australia's leading Federal Government departments are looking to engage a highly skilled and experienced Network Engineer to implement and manage the virtual networking and cloud infrastructure that support digital services. The department is undertaking a range of projects to uplift Cloud capability and transform their ICT services. The role will be based in Canberra with the successful Network Engineer to be offered a 12 month contract with 2 X 12 month extension options.   

The successful Network Engineer will be responsible for, but not limited to: 

• Network administration and supporting delivery of ICT projects
• Designing and implementing enhancements to enterprise VPN solutions
• Supporting the delivery of agreed Architecture milestones
• Streamlining and securing the digital operating environment

The successful Network Engineer will have experience in the following:

• Demonstrated experience with Cisco, SD Wan and Palo Alto Networks
• Experience with switching and security networks
• Experience with M365 and Azure services
• Experience supporting Data Centres
