One of Australia's leading Federal Government departments are looking to engage an experienced Program Manager to be responsible for delivering infrastructure services across the department. Services include secure gateway and network services, secure cloud deployments and BAU Delivery. The successful Program Manager  will be offered an initial 12 month contract with the view to be extended for further 24 months at a rewarding hourly rate.

The successful Program Manager will be responsible for:

• Managing and leading the Technology & Enabling Program and other approved projects
• Liaising with ICT operational, relevant business areas and other project areas for the controlled progression of projects through Departmental environments
• Undertaking high-level stakeholder consultations including cross agency clients/customers
• Managing Program budgets and preparing Program financial forecasts

The successful Program Manager will have experience in the following:

• Demonstrated experience in the delivery of complex ICT infrastructure programs and\\or projects.
• Proven ability to work within a structured ICT and project management governance framework and deliver results that adhere to relevant Commonwealth standards and policies.
• Demonstrated experience in monitoring and controlling resources, revenue and (capital and\\or operating) expenditures against the project budget.
• High level of management skills including the ability to lead, plan and deliver to a high standard, on budget and within tight timeframes
