One of Australia's leading Federal Government departments are looking to engage a Test Analyst to join their technical team. You will determine and then carry out testing activities to validate the design and behaviour of systems and services. The successful Test Analyst  will be offered an initial 12 month contract with the view to be extended for further 24 months at a rewarding hourly rate.

The successful Test Analyst will be responsible for:

• Analyse written specifications, user stories and requirements to create test cases with effective test coverage
• Write, review and execute test cases and record results in Azure DevOps
• Work with others to prioritise testing efforts, and test case execution in line with the test strategy and test plan

The successful Test Analyst will have experience in the following:

• Well-developed testing skills, including the ability to write, review and execute complex test cases and a good understanding of software testing topics such as Test Phases, Test reporting, Test Traceability, Defect Triage and the Defect Management Lifecycle.
• Demonstrated experience testing APIs, Azure DevOps and SQL (SQL Visual Studio) in context of setting up and evaluating testing.
• Experience in undertaking system and integration testing of enterprise-class systems as part of a multi-disciplinary team, using manual testing methods in agile delivery.
