A leading Federal Government department is looking to engage an experienced Senior OpenShift Administrator to implement, manage and retire the infrastructure (including physical, virtual, networking and cloud infrastructure) that supports digital services. The successful Senior OpenShift Administrator will be offered an initial 12 month contract with the view to extend for a further 2 years and receive a rewarding hourly rate.

The successful Senior OpenShift Administrator will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Design, deploy, manage, and troubleshoot OpenShift or other Kubernetes clusters in enterprise environments, ensuring high availability, reliability and scalability.
• Develop and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Helm to support scalable and resilient cloud infrastructure.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, processes, and best practices, and actively share knowledge with the team.

The successful Senior OpenShift Administrator will have experience in the following:

• At least 5+ years of experience in system administering including experience in OpenShift/ Kubernetes cluster administration.
• Extensive experience in Kubernetes administration - Including networking, security, storage, and troubleshooting within containerised environments.
• Experience in a government or highly regulated environment, with demonstrated compliance to standards such as the Information Security Manual (ISM) and Essential 8
