One of Australia's leading Federal Government departments are looking to engage a Business Analyst to undertake very complex work that delivers quality outcomes across the functions of the department. The successful Business Analyst will be offered an initial 12 month contract with the view to be extended for further 12 months at a rewarding hourly rate.

The successful Business Analyst will be responsible for:

• Facilitating the identification of digital system related business needs and processes, monitoring and collating data, identifying competing demands, organisational changes and new responsibilities.
• Evaluating effectiveness of proposed solutions and design in conjunction with stakeholders and subject matter experts.
• Providing project level analysis and producing required analysis documentation.

The successful Business Analyst will have experience in the following:

• Demonstrated experience in facilitating the identification of digital system related requirements and processes with technical and business users.
• Experienced in documenting Business Analyst artefacts including Epics, User Stories, User Interface requirements, current state versus future state process maps.
• Demonstrated ability to liaise with and manage internal and external stakeholders to achieve a business outcome.
