One of Australia’s leading Federal Government departments are looking to engage multiple Senior Java Developer to oversee software development projects, writing optimised code, and provide technical leadership to a team of software engineers. The successful Senior Java Developer will be offered a 12 month contract with 24 month extension options.

The successful Senior Java Developer will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance applications using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate and Micro services architecture
• Implementing frontend solutions using Angular, React, prime faces ensuring seamless integration with backend services
• Developing and optimising Java Batch Processes and RESTful APIs for efficient communication between client and server

The successful Senior Java Developer will have experience in the following:

• Demonstrated experience with technologies related to JavaScript such as Java Script ES6, Typescript, React, CSS, Less CSS & HTML.
• Demonstrated experience in Azure Technologies
• Demonstrated experience in Spring boot, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA, Web Services (SOAP and RESTful).
