One of Australia's leading Federal Government departments are looking to engage multiple Network Engineers to work closely with the modernisation project team to undertake the deployment, management and maintenance of a range of Network and Cyber Security technologies. You will mainly be working across Palo Alto Firewalls and Cisco networks to support future capability and sustainment. The role will can be based in Melbourne or Adelaide with the successful Network Engineers to be offered a 6 month contract with 2 X 12 month extension options.  

The successful Network Engineers will be responsible for, but not limited to: 

• Contributing to the development and execution of Digital Marketing strategies
• Planning, Deploying and Configuring Network and Cyber Security Systems
• Providing expert advice and undertaking configuration of Networking equipment and systems
• Supporting Network Segmentation and installing new Network Switch Hardware

The successful Network Engineers will have experience in the following:

• Experience administering and managing Cisco Routing and Switching
• Experience configuring Firewalls
• Extensive knowledge of Palo Alto  
• Knowledge of Disaster Recovery and testing procedures (desirable)
