One of Australia's leading Federal Government departments are looking to engage a highly skilled Business Analyst to understand the current state of the agency and identify future business needs. You will also be responsible for understanding the core needs and requirements of stakeholders and other business units. The role can be based in Canberra, Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne or Brisbane with the successful Business Analyst to be offered a 12 month contract with a 24 month extension option.  

The successful Business Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to: 

• Ensuring business or system network requirements are clearly defined and documented
• Identifying and articulating design options and system workflows
• Assisting with project activities and project deliverables
• Creating the requirements traceability matrix, including testing and quality checking

The successful Business Analyst will have experience in the following:

• Experience assessing the feasibility of business process changes
• Experience conducting root cause analysis
• Ability to apply standard data modelling and design techniques based upon understanding of requirements
• Sound understanding of network protocols including SD WAN (desirable)
