One of Australia's leading Federal Government departments are looking to engage multiple highly skilled and experienced Test Engineers and Test Managers to join their Technical Data Team. You will be tasked with designing, building and testing ICT operating systems as well as meeting key milestones for the projects. The role will be based in Canberra with the successful Test Engineers and Test Managers to be offered a 12 month contract with 2 X 12 month extension options.

The successful Test Engineers and Test Managers will be responsible for, but not limited to: 

• Designing Test Cases and Test Scripts under their own direction and reporting test outcomes
• Participating in requirement, design and specification reviews
• Developing plans and procedures for the verification of ICT Infrastructure solutions
• Managing and tracking testing of non-functional requirements (load, performance and compliance)

The successful Test Engineers and Test Managers will have experience in the following:

• 3-5 years or more experience in a Test Engineer or Test Manager role
• Ability to work in a complex fast paced environment
• Experience tracking testing of non-functional requirements
• Demonstrated experience with Information Security Policies and Essential Eight (desirable)
