A high-profile Federal Government department is looking to engage experienced Cloud Engineers to meet emerging needs of the department and business areas. The successful Cloud Engineers will be offered an initial 12 month contract with the view to extended for a further 2 x 12 months and receive a rewarding hourly rate.

The successful Cloud Engineers will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Enhance enterprise monitoring capability using Azure Monitor for cloud applications and systems.

• Uplift the 2016 server fleet to the new Server Standard Operating Environment
• Collaborating with team members and other delivery teams to achieve outcomes

• Lead Azure Datacentre remediation and sustainment activities, including Azure resource and policy improvements, Azure cost optimisation, and enhancements to business systems.

The successful Cloud Engineers will have experience in the following:

• Demonstrated experience working as a cloud engineer delivering a range of enterprise IT systems based around Microsoft Azure.NET cloud and on-premises technologies.
• Demonstrated experience using an enterprise toolset and delivery framework to produce high quality software in a fast paced agile delivery environment.
• Experience in all core services, as well as automation tools IAC, Powershell and Git. – Windows Server administration (2016 and 2022), AD and DNS
• Experience with SCOM and Azure Monitor – SCCM / MECM and Intune – Data Modelling technologies including SAS, R, Python, and Plexos
