One of Australia's most progressive Federal Government departments is looking to engage a Business Analyst to support the delivery of high-impact transformation initiatives. The successful Business Analyst will work closely with senior stakeholders and will be offered a 12-month contract with 2 x 12-month extension options.
The successful Business Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Investigating and analysing complex business situations to identify opportunities
- Defining and documenting business goals, processes, and data requirements
- Conducting root cause analysis and recommending improvements
- Collaborating with stakeholders, project managers, architects, and developers
- Applying both predictive (plan-driven) and adaptive (agile) business analysis approaches
The successful Business Analyst will have experience in the following:
- Minimum 3 years (SFIA Level 4) or 5 years (SFIA Level 5) Business Analyst experience
- Strong capability in Business Situation Analysis (SFIA BUSA)
- Proven ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (mandatory)
- Desirable: IIBA certifications (ECBA, CCBA, CBAP)
