A leading Federal Government department is looking to engage an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join a highly multidisciplinary team. The successful Senior DevOps Engineer will support the creation of pipelines within Azure DevOps and resource deployment and configuration in the Department’s Azure Subscriptions. The successful Senior DevOps Engineer will be offered a 12 month contract with 2 x 12 month extension options!

The successful Senior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Provide significant support in the design, development, and implementation of Azure hosting platforms.
• Management of all virtual infrastructure elements in Azure hosting platforms and in particular Azure data factories, their functioning, and deployment.
• Develop code via a process of continuous engagement (Agile).

The successful Senior DevOps Engineer will have experience in the following:

• Experience in creating pipelines within Azure DevOps and able to deploy and configure resources in the Department's Azure Subscriptions.
• Experience in deploying at scale Azure Infrastructure resources like AAD, DNS and App Gateway.
• Experience in producing technical documentation for application deployment and infrastructure services.
• Experience with automation tools such as Terraform, BedRock or PowerShell
