A leading Federal Government department is looking to engage an experienced Application Packager to join a highly multidisciplinary team. The successful Application Packager will be responsible for the development of automated silent installations, updates, and uninstalls from vendor supplied and internally developed software. The successful Application Packager will be offered a 6 month contract with 3 month extension options!

The successful Application Packager will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Package and deploy windows-based application and software in accordance with existing packaging and deployment standards and procedures for a large and complex environment(s).
• Deliver high level solutions, including managing and documenting third level problem resolution.
• Provide training and guidance to team members on software packaging methodologies, remediation techniques, and incident resolution procedures

The successful Application Packager will have experience in the following:

• Demonstrated ability to comprehend and adapt to new technical processes and technologies.
• Skills in Visual Basic Scripting, PowerShell, and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) in large, and complex environment(s) are essential.
• Experience in technical incident troubleshooting and resolution of software applications in an enterprise environment.
• ITIL Foundation Certification or knowledge of the Information Technology Infrastructure library would be advantageous.
