A leading Federal Government department is looking to engage Multiple experienced Software Developers to join a highly multidisciplinary team. The successful Software Developers will deliver innovative capabilities by developing and integrating software, documenting technical processes, and assisting with testing and deployment. The successful Software Developers will be offered a 15 month contract with 2 x 12 month extension options, open to ACT, QLD, VIC, and WA.

The successful Software Developers will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Support, maintain, and enhance existing software capability ensuring application availability.
• Document technical processes in accordance with organisational policies and procedures and promote bi-directional knowledge transfer within a team environment.
• Monitor systems and infrastructure; provide assistance with support requests to fix and troubleshoot issues.

The successful Software Developers will have experience in the following:

• Experience in the Cyber Security or related domain would be highly regarded.
• Demonstrated experience in development languages/frameworks such as Python, Java, Java Messaging Service, Javascript/ Typescript, J2EE, RESTful web services, Django and Ruby, Kubernetes, OpenShift.
• Experience in developing and deploying software within a Linux/Unix environment.
• Demonstrated competence in the use of automation and deployment tools.
