A leading Federal Government department is looking to engage an experienced Security Architect to join a major program of work to uplift and improve cyber resilience. You will be responsible for leading secure by design and secure by default efforts. The successful Security Architect will be offered initial 12 month contract with the view to extend for 2 x 12 month periods.

The successful Security Architect will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Improve cyber resilience by promoting and encouraging cyber security best practice in the development of digital products, services and systems
• Provide advice and guidance on secure-by-design and by-default with the aim of ensuring vendors are building security into their products.
• Support the threat modelling workshops and exercises for government entities development new digital systems of platforms.

The successful Security Architect will have experience in the following:

• Demonstrated experience preparing security architecture to support the implementation of security controls and security assessments
• Experience aligning solutions with ASD’s ISM and Essential 8.
• Experience working with a security focus on system design, development and engineering.
