One of Australia’s prominent Federal Government Departments is looking to engage an experienced Training Officer to identify general and technical training requirements for staff. The successful Training Officer  will be offered an initial 12 month contract along with 2 x 12 month extension options partnered with a rewarding hourly rate.

The successful Training Officer will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Work with various laboratory sections to identify general and technical training requirements for staff to obtain and maintain competency
• Develop standardised training modules, including how competency is measured and documented
• Develop and establish Training Schedules

The successful Training Officer will have experience in the following:

• Highly developed communication skills including an excellent ability to present, interpret information, listen and consult
• Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to cultivate positive working relationships
• Well-developed project management skills and experience, including a sound ability to complete projects to meet client/stakeholder needs
