A high-profile Federal Government Department is seeking multiple experienced Network Engineers to join a major intelligence program. These roles offer long-term security, a rewarding hourlyrate, and the chance to contribute to Australia’s national security landscape.

The successful Network Engineer will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Strong expertise in network design, planning and security. 
• Monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining network systems for optimal performance expertise in network design, planning, and security
• Ensuring security compliance in line with Defence and government policies
• Contributing to strategic planning, project management, and policy development
• Collaborating with key stakeholders to support mission-critical objectives

 The successful Network Engineer will have experience in the following:

• Familiarity with enterprise proxy, load balancing systems, and virtualization solutions (e.g., VMware)
• Experience with network automation, scripting, and infrastructure-as-code
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
