A high-profile Federal Government Department is seeking an experienced Machine Learning Engineer to join their team and provide detailed technical and operational support and advice in relation to complex problems. The successful Machine Learning Engineer will secure an initial 12-month contract with 1 x 12-month extension options and a lucrative hourly rate.  

The successful Machine Learning Engineer will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Providing End to end ownership of building secure continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes for various DSCE applications (Design, Build, Test, Support)
• Extracting, cleansing, and preparing of data from multiple sources
• Provision of support and maintenance of Advanced Analytics and Data Science solutions delivered by the DSCE.

 The successful Machine Learning Engineer will have experience in the following:

• Extensive background in developing CI/CD processes and supporting teams to deliver a variety of systems in Data Science, or DevOps teams
• Demonstrated experience and understanding of machine learning and data science systems and solution
• Experience in using a range of tools to deploy data science and machine learning systems.
