One of Australia’s most forward-thinking Federal Government agencies is seeking an experienced Senior UX/UI Designer to join its high-performing digital design team. This exciting role offers the chance to deliver innovative, user-centred digital products that directly improve accessibility and user experience for Australians.

The successful Senior UX/UI Designer will be offered an initial 7-month contract, with extensions up to 14 months total, and a competitive hourly rate!

The successful Senior UX/UI Designer will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

• Designing wireframes, prototypes and interactive user flows that meet WCAG accessibility standards.
• Facilitating co-design workshops and usability testing sessions with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Contributing to and evolving the agency’s Design System and UI component library.
• Gathering and evaluating user requirements to ensure all solutions are fit-for-purpose and inclusive.

The successful Senior UX/UI Designer must have experience in the following:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in UX/UI design within complex digital environments.
• Strong knowledge of WCAG accessibility guidelines and inclusive design principles.
• Proven experience in prototyping, wireframing and usability testing using modern design tools.
• Experience designing for Salesforce environments will be highly regarded.
