A leading Federal Government agency is seeking Foreign Policy Officer/Analysts to be part of a collaborative team that supports the nation’s international engagement efforts. You will contribute to research, and analysis that inform strategic decision-making and help deliver high-priority government initiatives. The successful Foreign Policy Officer/Analysts will be offered an initial 6-month contract with a 6-month extension, based in ACT.

The successful Foreign Policy Officer/Analysts will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Conducting research and analysis to inform Australia’s international engagement activities.
• Contributing to the monitoring and evaluation of key leadership programs.
• Undertaking data analysis and preparing briefs to support program delivery and stakeholder engagement.
• Assisting with administrative and logistical requirements of the work area.
• Fostering a positive, collaborative team culture through mentoring and feedback.

The successful Senior Business Analyst will have experience in the following:

• Strong knowledge of relevant policy areas and an understanding of global affairs.
• Proven ability to conduct policy research, analysis, and provide sound recommendations.
• Skilled in building and managing stakeholder relationships to achieve objectives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong organisational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while contributing to an inclusive team culture.
