An established Federal Government Department that is looking for an experienced Telecommunications Project Manager to join a multi-disciplined team based in Canberra. You will be working on a national project transitioning to mobile based broadband applications and technologies. The successful Telecommunications Project Manager will be offered an initial 12 month contract with long term extension options!

The successful Telecommunications Project Manager will be responsible for but not limited to:
  • Developing a project plan and schedule for the establishment of a National Project Management Office
  • Reviewing and updating project governance
  • Managing and coordinating engagements with relevant stakeholders
  • Providing technical advice across all telecommunications projects
The successful Telecommunications Project Manager must have experience in the following
  • 10 + years experience in complex project management activity
  • Strong experience with Commonwealth Government procurement
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience in the telecommunications industry is highly desirable
