We are seeking Senior Business Analyst to join a high-performing Federal Government Department. The successful Senior Business Analyst work across business and technical teams to gather requirements, improve processes and support the successful delivery of planned changes across enterprise systems and business operations.

The successful Business Analyst will secure an initial 12-month contract with 1x12 month extension option, based in ACT, with flexible working arrangements.

The Business Analyst will be responsible for but not limited to;

• Mapping business processes and identifying opportunities for improvement
• Supporting the definition and traceability of requirements across analysis, design, testing and implementation stages
• Assisting with delivery activities including acceptance criteria, UAT scenarios and issue resolution
• Providing knowledge transfer to APS staff through documentation, walkthroughs and collaborative working sessions

 The Business Analyst will have experience in the following:

• Experience in business process modelling, process improvement and developing clear business and functional requirements
• Experience supporting testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) activities
• Experience working with enterprise systems, including TechnologyOne, Power BI and collaboration tools such as Microsoft 365
• Experience in business analysis, including requirements gathering through workshops, interviews and document review
