We are seeking a Senior Kubernetes Engineer to join a high-performing Federal Government Department. The successful Senior Kubernetes Engineer will play a key role in supporting the delivery and sustaining of secure, scalable Kubernetes environments across hybrid platforms. The successful Senior Kubernetes Engineer will secure an initial 12-month contract with 2x12 month extension options, based in ACT.

The Senior Kubernetes Engineer will be responsible for but not limited to;

• Delivering, administering, and maintaining Kubernetes-based infrastructure solutions
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues across Kubernetes clusters, applications, and environments
• Contributing to the design, deployment and optimisation of Kubernetes cluster architecture
• Developing automation and contributing to infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD pipelines

The Senior Kubernetes Engineer will have experience in the following:

• Strong experience managing and administering Kubernetes in complex enterprise environments
• Experience deploying, securing and maintaining Kubernetes clusters
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines and automation tooling
• Experience implementing security controls including network policies, container scanning and compliance frameworks
