A leading Federal Government organisation is seeking to engage experienced Program Manager to join a high-performing delivery team. The successful  Program Manager will lead the planning, governance and delivery of a program of related technology projects in line with the ICT Plan 2025-2030 that enables organisational strategy and digital transformation. The successful Program Manager will secure an initial contract until June 2027 with extension options, based in Canberra with hybrid working arrangements.

The Program Manager will be responsible for but not limited to;

• Lead program planning, governance and delivery, ensuring alignment with organisational strategy, enterprise architecture, security and expected benefits.
• Implement and maintain program and project management practices that support iterative/agile ways of working and continuous improvement.
• Develop, articulate and communicate the program vision, outcomes, roadmap and benefits, ensuring shared understanding across stakeholders.
• Translate agreed business requirements into program and project plans, schedules, resource allocations and integration activities.

 The Program Manager will have experience in the following;

• Demonstrated experience in project/program management and experience with agile project management processes and methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience providing strategic advice to senior management and stakeholders as well as leading and assuming accountability for projects or programs that have strategic or operational significance.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, design and communicate high level plans to successfully deliver ICT change initiatives aligned with strategic goals of the organisation.
• Experience mentoring junior staff, to build a stronger understanding of the policies, processes and procedures.
