One of Australia's leading Federal Government departments are looking to engage a Automation Tester to work as part of an experienced and skilled team. The successful Automation Testerwill work within a Scrum team to establish and integrate test automation within the Scrum workflow and build processes. The successful Automation Tester will be offered an initial 12 month contract with the possibility of an extension.

The successful Automation Tester will be responsible for, but not limited to: 

• Implement automation frameworks, ensuring usability, effectiveness & efficiency
• Set standards for writing test code and automation coding principles
• Drive in-Sprint delivery of automated tests meeting acceptance criteria
• Write tests and supporting automation code

The successful Automation Tester will have experience in the following:

• Building automated test regimes as part of a DevOps team using CI/CD methodologies
• Expert “hands-on” technical proficiency with UI functional automation using tools
• Solid skills on testing REST API using Postman and writing automation scripts for REST API tests
• Experience on testing Salesforce and MuleSoft based solutions.
