A leading Federal Government organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join a high performing ICT team responsible for maintaining and enhancing complex enterprise network environments. This role will see you take ownership of network operations across a large scale environment spanning LAN, WAN, WLAN, firewalls and cloud platforms. You will play a key role in ensuring network stability, security, and continuous improvement while contributing to incident management and project delivery outcomes. The successful Senior Network Engineer will be offered an initial 12 month contract with 2 x 12 month extension options.

The successful Network Engineer will be responsible for, but not limited to

• Managing and improving enterprise network infrastructure, standards, and documentation
• Supporting hybrid cloud networking environments across AWS and Azure
• Leading and contributing to major incident response and resolution
• Supporting hybrid cloud networking environments across AWS and Azure

 The successful Network Engineer will have experience in the following

• Strong experience across enterprise networking e.g. LAN, WAN, WLAN, SDN and firewalls
• Hands on experience with cloud networking and security technologies e.g. AWS, Azure, Zscaler
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and drive continuous improvement
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to support, mentor and engage stakeholders
