We are seeking an experienced IT Disaster Recovery & Cyber Resilience Specialist to join a leading Federal Government Agency. The successful IT Disaster Recovery & Cyber Resilience Specialist will play a key role in uplifting the organisation's ICT Disaster Recovery capability, delivering resilience initiatives and ensuring critical technology services can be recovered in line with business requirements. You will be offered an 18 month contract with an additional 18 month extension option and receive a rewarding hourly rate. 

The successful IT Disaster Recovery & Cyber Resilience Specialist will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Developing and maintaining ICT Disaster Recovery strategies, policies, standards and governance frameworks
• Leading disaster recovery planning, testing, assurance and resilience uplift initiatives
• Conducting recovery assessments, resilience reporting and recovery prioritisation activities
• Integrating disaster recovery requirements into architecture, projects and operational processes
• Providing specialist advice on cyber resilience, risk management and disaster recovery best practices

The successful IT Disaster Recovery & Cyber Resilience Specialist will have:

• 5+ years\' experience in ICT Disaster Recovery, cyber resilience or related fields
• Experience developing Disaster Recovery strategies, frameworks and governance models
• Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms and cybersecurity principles
• Experience with disaster recovery testing, BIA, RTO/RPO and resilience assessments
• Knowledge of NIST, ISO 22301, PSPF, ISM and Australian Government security frameworks
