We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Lead to join a leading Federal Government Agency supporting critical cloud and infrastructure transformation initiatives. The successful Senior Technical Lead will provide hands-on leadership across AWS and Azure environments, driving technical uplift, cloud enablement and operational improvement while mentoring internal teams. You will be offered an initial 12 month contract with the view to extend for a further 2 years and receive a rewarding hourly rate.

The successful Senior Technical Lead will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Leading cloud and infrastructure transformation initiatives across AWS and Azure environments
• Developing architecture artefacts, technical designs, roadmaps and operational standards
• Identifying and remediating technical debt, platform risks and operational issues
• Improving platform stability, resilience, supportability and operational maturity
• Providing technical leadership, mentoring and knowledge transfer to internal teams

The successful Senior Technical Lead will have:

• Strong experience across AWS, Azure and enterprise cloud platforms
• Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, container platforms and DevOps practices
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and infrastructure operations
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence and cloud automation tools
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and technical leadership capabilities
