We are seeking an experienced Pipeline Engineer (Data Architect) to join a leading Federal Government Agency delivering critical data transformation initiatives. The successful Pipeline Engineer will design, build and maintain scalable cloud-based data pipelines, ensuring secure and reliable movement of data across enterprise systems while supporting large-scale digital programs. You will be offered an initial 12 month contract with a further 12 month extension option and receive a rewarding hourly rate. 

The successful Pipeline Engineer will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Designing, building and maintaining scalable cloud-based data pipelines and integration solutions
• Developing ETL processes and data workflows using AWS and cloud-native technologies
• Automating data processing activities and improving pipeline performance and scalability
• Implementing security controls and governance practices across data platforms
• Collaborating with analysts, data scientists and technical teams to deliver data-driven outcomes 

The successful Pipeline Engineer will have:

• 5+ years\' experience developing data pipelines within cloud environments
• Strong experience with AWS services including AWS Glue, Kinesis, data storage and processing services
• Experience with ETL tools such as AWS Glue, Informatica, DBT or Talend
• Strong SQL, scripting and Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform or similar technologies
• Relevant ICT qualifications, AWS certifications or related industry certifications highly regarded
