We are seeking an experienced Tech Lead (Senior CIAM Software Engineer) to join a leading Federal Government Agency. The successful Tech Lead will provide hands-on technical leadership across large-scale Consumer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) platforms, driving the development, integration and enhancement of secure identity solutions supporting millions of users. You will be offered an initial 18 month contract with a further 18 month extension option and receive a rewarding hourly rate. 

The successful Tech Lead will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Leading the implementation and enhancement of enterprise CIAM solutions and identity platforms
• Designing solutions for complex identity, authentication and access management challenges
• Conducting code reviews, troubleshooting technical issues and maintaining high-quality engineering standards
• Mentoring engineers and contributing to delivery planning, estimation and technical direction
• Collaborating with stakeholders and technical teams to integrate CIAM capabilities across enterprise systems 

The successful Tech Lead will have:

• Advanced JavaScript and TypeScript development experience within enterprise environments
• Strong experience implementing CIAM solutions using OAuth2.0, OIDC and modern identity standards
• Experience customising and integrating platforms such as Auth0, Okta, ForgeRock or Ping Identity
• Strong testing experience including unit and integration testing frameworks such as Jest
• Relevant Auth0, Okta, ForgeRock, Ping Identity or Cloud certifications highly regarded
