We are seeking four experienced System Engineers to join a major Federal Government program delivering and supporting critical infrastructure capabilities. The successful System Engineers will provide engineering expertise across the full system development lifecycle, supporting infrastructure design, automation, integration and operational support within highly secure environments. You will be offered an initial 12 month contract with the view to extend for a further 2 years and receive a rewarding hourly rate. 

The successful System Engineers will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Providing engineering services across all stages of the system development lifecycle
• Leading infrastructure and platform design, implementation and support activities
• Installing, configuring, maintaining and decommissioning systems and infrastructure components
• Developing scripts, automation solutions and configuration management processes
• Resolving technical issues and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver capability outcomes 

The successful System Engineers will have:

• Experience with the installation, configuration, maintenance and support of enterprise systems
• Strong Linux administration and system hardening experience
• Experience with configuration management, automation and scripting technologies
• Strong infrastructure design, integration and troubleshooting capabilities
• Linux, Red Hat, ITIL or relevant infrastructure certifications highly regarded
