A prominent opportunity within the Federal Government sector, we are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join a high-impact project. This role offers the chance to drive business analysis on complex ICT projects, contributing to the development of strategic outcomes for a key government agency. The successful Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for working on business modelling, process improvement, and business situation analysis, playing a key role in shaping solutions across multiple business functions. The role offers an initial 18-month contract with two 12-month extension options, with hybrid working arrangements available for candidates in the ACT.

The successful Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Investigate business needs, problems, and opportunities, and recommend effective business processes
• Contribute to business cases and process improvements, enhancing efficiency across multiple business functions
• Advise stakeholders on modelling techniques, tools, and processes for effective business analysis
• Build and sustain relationships with a range of stakeholders, ensuring alignment on business goals
• Lead the scoping, requirements definition, and prioritisation activities for large, complex initiatives

To be successful, the Senior Business Analyst will demonstrate:

• Proven experience in business modelling, process improvement, and situation analysis at an advanced level
• Strong ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to identify business needs and drive alignment
• Demonstrated experience in defining and managing requirements for large, complex projects
• Excellent stakeholder relationship management skills, ensuring open communication and engagement
