A high-profile Federal Government agency is seeking skilled and security-cleared Network Administrators/Engineers to contribute to the delivery and support of complex, secure ICT network solutions. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a nationally significant environment supporting protected and official systems. The successful Network Administrators/Engineers will work across modern infrastructure deployments, cloud and hybrid environments, and take part in meaningful technology transformations that directly impact national service delivery. The Network Administrators/Engineers will be offered an initial 12-month contract with 2x 12-month extension, open to candidates in ACT with flexible hybrid work arrangements available.

The successful Network Administrator/Engineer will be responsible for:

• Monitoring and optimising infrastructure load, performance, and security, using modern tools and scripting.
• Maintaining, upgrading, and automating secure network and infrastructure components to meet service expectations.
• Troubleshooting operational issues and executing backup, restore, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Documenting and delivering improvements to operational procedures and system maintenance routines.

To be successful, the Network Administrator/Engineer will have:

• 5–10+ years of experience delivering network/infrastructure solutions in complex ICT environments.
• Strong technical expertise across a range of deployments, architectures, and automation tools.
• Experience supporting performance targets, availability, service levels, and disaster recovery.
• Familiarity with scripting and infrastructure automation for provisioning and deployment tasks.
