A high profile Federal Government department is looking to engage an experienced Azure Cloud Support Officer to assist in the ongoing operation, optimisation, and governance of its Microsoft Azure cloud environment. The successful Azure Cloud Support Officer will be offered an initial 12 month contract with the view to extend for a further 12 months and receive a rewarding hourly rate.

The successful Azure Cloud Support Officer will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Providing day-to-day operational support and troubleshooting within the Microsoft Azure environment.
• Monitoring and responding to alerts using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and other observability tools.
• Supporting the implementation and maintenance of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) with Bicep, Terraform or ARM templates.
• Ensuring compliance through Azure policy enforcement, tagging standards, RBAC reviews and governance rule updates.

The successful Azure Cloud Support Officer will have experience in the following:

• Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Azure operational support, troubleshooting and service request resolution.
• Proficiency with Azure-native monitoring and security tools.
• Strong communication skills with ability to liaise across ICT, Finance, Security, and Application Delivery teams.
• Experience documenting operational procedures, automation scripts, and architectural patterns.
