A leading Federal Government agency is seeking experienced Personnel Security Vetting Officers to join their clearances and vetting team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to safeguarding Australia’s national interests by conducting security vetting assessments up to the NV2 level. The successful Personnel Security Vetting Officer will be offered an initial 12-month contract with a 12-month extension, based in ACT, working onsite in a dynamic, high-tempo environment.

The successful Personnel Security Vetting Officer will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Conduct personnel security vetting in accordance with PSPF and agency procedures.
• Provide informed advice on clearance outcomes and manage complex assessments with quality documentation.
• Oversee QA caseloads to ensure compliance with standards and maintain accuracy.
• Deliver results under tight deadlines while supporting broader security functions and admin tasks.

To be successful, you will demonstrate:

• Certificate IV in Government (Personnel Security Vetting).
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• High integrity and commitment to APS values and the Code of Conduct.
