One of Australia's highly regarded federal government departments is looking to engage an experienced Data Entry Officer to join a highly skilled project team responsible for compiling and checking geological data to support several high profile projects. The successful candidate will be offered an initial contract until June 2026 with 1x 12 months extension.

The successful Data Entry Officer will be responsible for, but not limited to;

• Analysing data from structured and unstructured reports

• Entering Data into Databases such as geological samples, boreholes, lithostratigraphy resources

• Undertake QA/QC of all related data.

 The successful Data Entry Officer must have the following:

• 3rd year University student, or recent graduate, in earth science or a closely related science, and have an appreciation of the benefits of scientific data quality and completeness.

• Proficiency with data management applications, especially Excel.

• Demonstrated ability to ensure the compilation of highest quality data through your attention to detail and sound geological judgement.
