A prominent Federal Government agency is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead and coordinate critical ICT programs that deliver secure, scalable solutions aligned with national priorities. This is a fantastic opportunity to drive strategic outcomes and uplift program delivery maturity within a high-profile environment. The successful Program Manager will be offered an initial 12-month contract with two 12-month extensions, based in Canberra with flexible hybrid work arrangements available.

The successful Program Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Implement program management approaches aligned with governance standards, including defining deliverables, milestones, and dependencies.
• Establish team structures and foster a collaborative environment to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
• Engage stakeholders, maintain awareness of business priorities, and provide clear communication throughout the program lifecycle.
• Monitor and report on program performance (budget, schedule, risks), while identifying opportunities to streamline and improve delivery processes.

To be successful, the Program Manager will demonstrate:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience delivering ICT projects within the Australian Intelligence Community (AIC).
• Proven ability to ensure innovation across ICT projects and align with organisational strategy.
• Strong experience in prioritised and commensurate performance reporting.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, complex environment and manage competing priorities.
