An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced ICT Physical Security Assurance Specialist to join a high-profile Federal Government program delivering secure, modern mobility and ICT capabilities. This role will see you provide expert physical ICT security guidance across the deployment, testing and operation of sensitive ICT systems supporting senior government officials. The successful specialist will be offered an initial 12 month contract with 2 × 12 month extensions, working onsite in the ACT within a highly skilled, security-focused environment.

The ICT Physical Security Assurance Specialist will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Providing expert advice on the construction and administration of ICT systems within Temporary Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (T-SCIFs).
• Identifying vulnerabilities, assessing physical risks, and developing security planning solutions and policy inputs.
• Reviewing site plans and conducting inspections to ensure compliance with relevant Australian Government security frameworks (ISM, PSPF, ASHS, DSPF).
• Delivering risk mitigation strategies and guidance to support Initial and Final Operating Capability requirements.

The successful ICT Physical Security Assurance Specialist will have experience in the following:

• Strong capability in governance relating to ICT security frameworks and physical assurance requirements.
• Demonstrated experience interpreting and applying information assurance and security policy to manage physical ICT risks.
• Experience conducting physical assurance, accreditation activities, and reviewing compliance across complex ICT environments.
• Ability to develop policies, standards, guidelines, and contribute to ICT security governance uplift.
