An innovative Federal Government Agency is looking to engage experienced Security Architect to support complex systems integration and security accreditation activities within a high-security government environment. The role will be responsible for actively managing key stakeholder relationships and will be required to identify stakeholders’ expectations. The Security Architect will secure a 12-month contract with 2 x 12-month options to extend, based in ACT.

The Security Architect will be responsible for but not limited to;

• Leading and managing the security accreditation process across integration projects
• Informing and validating security requirements for new and existing capabilities
• Obtaining, advising, and acting on threat intelligence and changes to the technology landscape
• Contributing to the approval of designs through architectural, security and stakeholder bodies.
• Ensuring alignment with Essential Eight, ISM, PSPF and NIST frameworks

The Security Architect will have experience in the following:

• Extensive experience in complex government security environments
• Strong knowledge of ISM, PSPF, Essential Eight and NIST
• Security accreditation and assurance (SCTY5 / INAS4 equivalent capability)
• Designing and reviewing secure system architectures (DESN5 capability)
• Managing stakeholder engagement in sensitive environments
